SQL Server Database - Microsoft Access Optimised Solutions

Access is a very flexible development environment which can deliver advanced and complex applications. It does have limitations regards its ability to handle large numbers of users. However this can be overcome when Microsoft Access is used as front end Interface to a backend SQL Server database

And as a result of many years of experience at designing Microsoft Access - SQL Server linked databases and can offer a series of configuration options depending on client requirements.

In oIn one case a mining company required information to be updated on a server at the main office on a periodic basis. We designed a database for the client that connected to the local server to input data and transferred the data through to a SQL Server database at the main office via a satellite link.

The final design option for the Access interface will depend on the specifics of each project and the level of sophistication required in the interface.
